We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established building and refurbishment contractor who delivers a range of projects locally to Bristol. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects including dilapidations, commercial refurbishments, industrial developments, and office fit-outs, with project values ranging from £500k to £3m. The Role As Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for projects from pre-construction through to final account, ensuring financial performance is maximised whilst maintaining strong client relationships. Key responsibilities will include: Managing project costs and budgets Procurement and subcontractor management Preparing and submitting valuations Variations and change management Cost reporting and forecasting Contract administration Negotiating and agreeing final accounts Supporting project delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle Building and maintaining strong client relationships About You The successful candidate will have: Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction, fit-out or refurbishment sectors Experience delivering projects valued between £500k and £3m Strong understanding of commercial contracts and construction processes Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent negotiation and communication skills A proactive and commercially focused approach Degree qualified or equivalent (desirable) What's On Offer?
