KS1 Teacher Location: Bromley, London Salary: £39,196 - £58,120 per year. Salary depends on experience and pay scale position, with the maximum applicable to candidates with substantial teaching experience. Relevant qualifications are also taken into account. Contract: Full-time, long-term temporary Start date: 19/10/2026 Hours: Term time, 8:30am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday. Help children discover the pleasure of reading, explain their thinking and grow into confident learners. Transparency Education is recruiting a KS1 Teacher for a primary teaching opportunity in Bromley. You will take responsibility for planning, teaching and assessment, combining clear routines with practical activities that make new ideas accessible. This role would suit a teacher who enjoys the energy of Key Stage 1 and understands how much progress starts with secure foundations. Responsibilities • Plan engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum • Teach systematic phonics, early reading and writing • Build mathematical understanding through practical resources and discussion • Use assessment to adapt teaching for SEND, EAL and different starting points • Work with teaching assistants and keep families informed about progress Requirements • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant primary teaching experience • Strong knowledge of phonics and the KS1 curriculum • Positive behaviour management and an organised approach to planning • A commitment to inclusive teaching and pupil wellbeing • An enhanced DBS check appropriate to the role, or willingness to complete one.
