Deputy Manager – Children’s Residential Care 📍 Leatherhead 💷 £40,000–£45,000 per year ⏰ 40 hours | Full-time, Permanent We are recruiting an experienced Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager within a children’s residential home supporting young people with complex emotional, behavioural and trauma-related needs. Key Responsibilities * Deputise for the Registered Manager. * Lead, support and develop the care team. * Manage rotas, supervisions and staff development. * Support safeguarding, care planning and risk management. * Maintain Ofsted compliance and accurate records. * Promote trauma-informed and PACE approaches. * Work with families and other professionals. * Balance management duties with direct care. * Participate in the management on-call rota. About You * 3+ years’ senior/supervisory experience in children’s residential care. * Experience supporting complex needs, trauma and challenging behaviour. * Strong leadership and staff supervision skills. * Knowledge of safeguarding and Ofsted requirements. * Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare – Essential. * Full UK driving licence – Essential. * Level 5 Leadership & Management desirable.
