KS2 Teacher Location: Wandsworth, London Salary: £41,729 - £64,684 per year. Salary depends on experience and pay scale position, with the maximum applicable to candidates with substantial teaching experience. Relevant qualifications are also taken into account. Contract: Full-time, long-term temporary Start date: 19/10/2026 Hours: Term time, 8:30am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday. Encourage pupils to question, explain and take pride in increasingly independent work. Transparency Education is recruiting a KS2 Teacher for a primary opportunity in Wandsworth. You will plan and teach across the curriculum, using assessment to build on what pupils already know. The role suits a teacher who combines clear explanations and high expectations with an understanding of different learning needs. Responsibilities • Plan coherent sequences of learning across Key Stage 2 • Develop reading comprehension, writing and mathematical reasoning • Use assessment to identify gaps and plan next steps • Adapt teaching for SEND, EAL and pupils needing further challenge • Direct classroom support and communicate progress to parents and carers Requirements • UK QTS and relevant Key Stage 2 experience • Strong curriculum knowledge and assessment practice • Effective classroom organisation and behaviour management • A reflective, inclusive approach to teaching • An enhanced DBS check appropriate to the role, or willingness to complete one.
