Our client is a site services division of a family owned group of companies turning over £20m. This division specialise in all aspects of groundwork from ground clearance, drainage, utilities, finishing and landscaping. With an increasing workload which will see them triple their turnover in the next 12 months, they require an experienced Groundworks Foreman to join their team and oversee projects with the help of two in house operatives. The works are across London and the South East, so travel is required. This client is happy to offer either a permanent PAYE or self employed role. If permanent the rate will be £250 + Van & Tools. Self employed candidates who apply will require their own transport. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years experience within the groundworks sector and have supervisory / managerial experience. Reporting to a contracts manager, you will lead the two operatives working with you. You will need to understand drawings, do tool box talks and sign off works. You'll assist the two operatives with the more technical tasks and operate machinery when needed. The ideal candidate will have; * SSSTS / SMSTS * 10+ Years Experience specifically within a groundworks role * 3+ Years experience within a supervisory/management role * CPCS/NPORS 360 * CPCS/NPORS Dumper It really is a great time to be joining, with the potential for career development into project / contract manager roles later in your career.
