CONVEYANCING ASSISTANT (Residential) role in Harrogate town centre at Berwins Solicitors. Conveyancing Assistant Duties: Key duties include: * Working closing with lawyers to run case files * Day-to-day administration of the case files, ensuring that the matter progresses and the client is updated * Dealing with clients by telephone and email, recognising their individual needs and expectations * Liaising with other professionals and institutions, such as Estate Agents, Mortgage Brokers and Lenders * Completing relevant documentation, for example SDLT returns and associated documents * Using both general IT packages, (MS Office) and our specialist Conveyancing software and case management system (Leap) * Drafting simple legal documents, (under supervision) * Any other general office duties The ideal Conveyancing Assistant: * MUST have experience of handling conveyancing transactions from start to finish, within a law firm/equivalent setting. * Will have experience of using a conveyancing case management system * Will have experience of MS Office applications in a work setting * Will have excellent communication skills, written and verbal and enjoy dealing with people * Will enjoy working as part of a team and be prepared to help other colleges APPLY NOW not to miss this excellent opportunity
