Appliance Engineer Location: North East Salary: £32,000 per annum + Door-to-Door Overtime Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Industry: Commercial Catering Equipment Experienced Appliance Engineer Wanted We are looking for an experienced Appliance Engineer to join our team in the North East, working on a wide range of commercial catering equipment across customer sites. The Role As an Appliance Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial catering equipment at customer premises. Your responsibilities will include: * Attending customer sites to diagnose and repair equipment * Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and servicing * Electrical and mechanical fault finding * Repairing and maintaining a range of commercial catering appliances * Ensuring equipment is safe, compliant and operating efficiently * Providing a professional and customer-focused service * Completing service reports and paperwork * Managing your daily workload and appointments * Travelling throughout the North East to customer sites We're looking for an engineer with: * Previous experience as an Appliance Engineer, Catering Engineer, White Goods Engineer or similar * Experience with commercial catering equipment is highly desirable * Good electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills * A practical, hands-on approach to engineering * Excellent customer service and communication skills * The ability to work independently and manage your own workload * A full UK driving licence Commercial catering experience is advantageous, but we are also interested in engineers from an appliance/white goods background who are keen to move into commercial equipment.
