Interim Specification Technologist (Food Manufacturing) £350 per day + Expenses Immediate Start | 2-3 Month Contract A well-established food manufacturer is seeking an experienced Interim Specification Technologist to support the technical team on an initial 2-3 month contract. This role offers excellent flexibility, with 1 day per week on-site and 4 days remote working. The Role Manage and maintain customer specifications across retailer portals. Review, update and approve product specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance. Liaise with internal departments including Technical, NPD, Procurement and Operations. Ensure specifications meet retailer requirements and regulatory standards. Provide support during product launches and specification amendments. Work with retailer systems and customer requirements to meet strict deadlines.Key Requirements Previous experience as a Specification Technologist within food manufacturing. Essential experience using Hive. Essential experience managing specifications for Aldi. Strong understanding of food legislation, labelling and retailer compliance requirements. Ability to hit the ground running with minimal supervision. Available for an immediate start.Package £350 per day. Mileage paid at £0.55 per mile. Business expenses covered. 1 day on-site, 4 days remote. Initial 2-3 month contract
