Social Worker – Assessment & Intervention Team Location: Southwark, Surrey Rate: £37.52 per hour Umbrella Contract: Locum / Agency We are seeking an experienced Children's Social Worker to join an Assessment & Intervention Team in Southwark. You will undertake Section 17 Child and Family Assessments and Section 47 enquiries, complete statutory visits, manage a varied caseload and participate in the duty rota. You will work collaboratively with children, families, professionals and partner agencies to deliver timely, proportionate and child-focused interventions. About You * Qualified and Social Work England registered. * Strong experience in children's assessment, safeguarding and child protection. * Confident undertaking Section 17 assessments and Section 47 enquiries. * Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and statutory guidance. * Excellent assessment, analytical, communication and report-writing skills. * Able to manage risk and complex cases effectively. * Committed to relationship-based, strengths-based and child-centred practice. £37.52 per hour Umbrella | Southwark, Surrey | Locum Mandatory: Must have a UK Passport or a Full Right to Work in the UK If you're an experienced Children's Social Worker looking for your next opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.
