Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Drivers to join our client's busy operation in Ayr. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and safety-conscious individual looking for long-term work, with an immediate start available and work secured through to March 2027. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe movement, loading and unloading of materials, ensuring goods are stored correctly and supporting wider warehouse and operational activities as required. Key Responsibilities Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently Loading and unloading vehicles Moving stock and materials throughout the site Stacking and storing goods in designated locations Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment Assisting with general warehouse duties when required Adhering to all site health and safety proceduresRequirements Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (RTITB, ITSSAR or equivalent) Previous experience operating a forklift truck within a warehouse, manufacturing or industrial environment Strong awareness of health and safety procedures Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication skills Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethicWhat's on Offer Immediate start Long-term contract until March 2027 £13.50 per hour Overtime opportunities: Saturday paid at Time and a Half Sunday paid at Double Time Monday to Friday working pattern Stable and supportive working environment Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people
