Planning Officer (Development Management) Midlands £45-50 per hour (Umbrella) Initial 3 Month Contract (scope to extend)   Job Ref - 69368   The Role   This is a delivery-focused role. We are looking for someone who can join the team and make an immediate impact with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will be expected to take ownership of a significant caseload and progress applications through to determination at pace whilst maintaining robust decision making. The caseload is likely to include: ·Householder applications ·Minor applications ·Rural and agricultural applications ·Small to medium-scale residential developments ·Applications generally ranging up to approximately 30 dwellings ·Pre-application enquiries ·Appeals and associated casework where required ·Committee reports where required   We are looking for someone who:   ·Is comfortable managing a high caseload ·Can work independently with minimal support ·Has strong report-writing skills ·Can make clear, balanced planning recommendations ·Has recent experience determining applications rather than managing teams ·Is motivated by delivery and throughput ·Experience using Uniform / IDOX is essential.
