Overview We’re supporting the recruitment of a Commercial Gas Engineer to cover a portfolio of commercial sites across the South West. The role focuses on planned and reactive maintenance, diagnostics, and ensuring all commercial gas systems remain safe, compliant and fully operational. Sites include offices, education, healthcare, retail and light industrial environments. Key Responsibilities Deliver PPM and reactive maintenance on commercial heating systems Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently Work on commercial boilers, burners, warm air units, radiant tubes and associated plant Complete gas safety checks, testing and certification Maintain accurate documentation and compliance records Support wider building services teams when required Participate in the on‑call rota (enhanced rates apply) Required Qualifications Essential Commercial ACS: COCN1 or CODNCO1 (core commercial) CIGA1 CDGA1 ICPN1 TPCP1A (or TPCP1) Desirable: Domestic changeover (CCN1) LPG (CLP1) Commercial Catering (COMCAT) OFTEC (if dual‑fuel) Experience Needed Strong background in commercial gas maintenance Experience working across FM, commercial estates or multi‑site environments Confident with diagnostics and fault‑finding Good understanding of compliance and safety documentation Full UK driving licence What’s On Offer Competitive salary + overtime Standby - currently 1in4 but moving to 1in6 with new hires Bonus Provate Medical Company van + fuel card Training and upskilling opportunities Long‑term, stable contract Clear progression routes within the business
