Food Technology Teacher Bury St Edmunds | January 2027 Start | Full-Time | Long-Term Temporary Those that can teach 4 or 5 days per week, considered. Tradewind Recruitment are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Food Technology Teacher to join a secondary school in the Bury St Edmunds area from January 2027. This is a great opportunity for a Food Technology specialist to take responsibility for the subject across the school, with support from the wider leadership team. The Role Teach Food Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4 Deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons Teach GCSE Food and support students through their coursework and assessments Plan, prepare and deliver lessons effectively Mark students' work and assess progress Support students with their NEA assessments Work alongside the Head of Faculty, who will provide support Contribute to the wider life of the school You would be the sole Food Technology teacher, so this role would suit someone who is confident working independently and has a good understanding of the GCSE Food curriculum. We're looking for someone who: Has QTS or relevant teaching experience Has experience teaching Food Technology in a secondary setting Has experience delivering GCSE Food Understands the requirements of NEA assessment Can plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons Is confident managing a classroom and supporting students' progress Is enthusiastic, reliable and passionate about their subject The Details Start: January 2027 Location: Bury St Edmunds Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday Teaching days: 4 or 5 days a week considered.
