Night Class 1 Driver: Palletised Multi-Drop Location: Heysham Pay: £19.61 (holidays incl) per hour, paid weekly About the Role We're looking for a reliable Class 1 (C+E) driver to join our Client's night operation delivering palletised freight on multi-drop routes. You'll load, deliver and return safely and on time, representing the company professionally at every drop. Key Responsibilities - Safely deliver palletised goods to multiple customer sites on scheduled night routes - Carry out daily walk-round vehicle checks and report any defects promptly - Load and secure freight correctly, checking pallets against delivery paperwork - Obtain accurate proof of delivery (POD) and report any damages, shortages or delivery issues - Complete all paperwork accurately - Comply with drivers' hours regulations, tachograph rules and the Working Time Directive - Keep your vehicle clean, tidy and roadworthy - Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies Requirements - Full UK Category C+E (Class 1) licence - Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience - Valid Driver CPC card - Valid digital tachograph card - Previous multi-drop or palletised delivery experience is preferred - Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations - Ability to manage your time and work independently on night shifts - Professional attitude and good communication skills What We Offer - Ongoing work and long-term opportunities wfnorth
