They deliver customised training courses designed to meet client needs, with a focus on ensuring delegates gain both the required certification and the skills and confidence to apply their learning in their chosen vocation. The Role They are seeking a Plant Equipment Trainer to deliver a variety of plant training courses to an extensive range of blue-chip clients at client sites nationwide across the UK and, where required, at their training centres in the Midlands. Due to the diversity of their clients and candidates, no training course is ever the same. You will work with people from a range of backgrounds and learning styles, requiring you to remain engaging and adaptable while delivering training to the required standard. Due to further expansion, this is an opportunity to join an established Health and Safety company with further growth plans. Delivery of training at client premises is a significant part of the role, so a willingness to travel UK-wide is required. Key Responsibilities Deliver training across a range of plant and equipment courses Deliver training on the majority of the equipment and courses listed below Maintain a professional company image when dealing with customers Assist and cooperate with colleagues to ensure a professional service through collaboration and information sharing Requirements Essential ITSSAR accredited tutor Significant experience in the Health and Safety field Appropriate training qualifications Ability to demonstrate experience delivering training on the majority of the following: Slinging and Lifting Operations A1–A8 Powered Pallet Truck Abrasive Wheels B1–B3 Counterbalance FLT C1 and C2 Side Loader D1 and D2 Reach FLT Excavators 180 and 360 H1 and H2 Tow Tractors J1–J4 Rough Terrain Trucks Mobile Cranes Overhead Cranes Slinger / Signaller / Banksman ITSSAR Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels Flexibility and willingness to travel UK-wide Good computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office applications Desirable Skid-steer loader / Bobcat Road roller Mobile Elevated Working Platform Mobile Plant – Loading Shovel P1 and P2 Pivot Steer M1–M3 Multi-Directional Trucks F1 and F2 Very Narrow Aisle Trucks E1 and E2 Order Pickers Vehicle Banksman What’s In It For You £27,000–£30,000 per annum, negotiable depending on experience Company pension Company laptop Company car or car allowance What’s next?
