Our client, a well known leading Irish Developer is currently seeking a Finishing Foreman to join their Dublin based team. The client in question are operating a number of high end residential sites around the county. This is a full-time permanent position with competitive salary and ancillary benefits Role and Responsibilities: * Overseeing the final phase of construction operations on a day-to-day basis * Ensuring that work is done safely, to tight deadlines and to the right quality standards * Monitoring progress, overseeing delivery of materials and carrying out safety checks * Weekly meetings * Dealing with any problems which could hold up work as they arise * Liaising closely with the Site Manager and members of the site team at all times * Sub cointractor liaison * Ability to handle pressure and work the programme to deadline * Liaising closely with architects, engineers, surveyors and planners * Ensuring work complies with building regulations and health and safety legislation as well as other legal requirements * Delegating, motivating and guiding labourers * Updating and reporting back regularly on progress The Ideal Candidate Will Have: * Either a trades background or theird level construction management or civil engineering education * Previous experience (ideally in residential sector) as a Finishing Foreman with 2-3+ years experience * A solid track record of managerial experience within the construction industry required * Excellent communication, organisation & time management skills are essential * Proven track record of working to strict timescales * Good understanding of current Health & Safety legislation is required Package: * Competitive Salary * Company Laptop * Company phone, Pension * Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
