About the Business A fantastic opportunity to join a well-established services business based at Birmingham Business Park as a Commercial Management Accountant with a salary of £35,000 – £42,000. This is a great chance to join a global organisation with a genuinely collaborative culture, working closely with project and operational teams to support the wider finance function. Main Duties: As a Commercial Management Accountant, your main duties include: * Liaising with project managers to obtain sign-off ahead of client billing * Setting up new projects on the accounting system, including budget revisions and cost transfers as required * Maintaining and validating billing rates across the project portfolio * Calculating and posting management fees and other direct cost entries * Producing regular cost reports for project managers, on a weekly basis or as requested * Processing project-related purchase ledger transactions * Managing the sales ledger, including chasing outstanding customer payments * Handling transactions across multiple currencies * Producing and issuing accurate monthly client invoices, complete with all required supporting documentation * Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc projects and tasks as required Location / Office / Culture The role is hybrid, based at Birmingham Business Park.
