Class 1 Collection & Delivery Driver  Location: Reading, Berkshire Salary: £38,210 per annum Hours: 40 hours per week | Monday-Friday | 15:30-00:00 Overtime: Paid at 1.5x Job Type: Full Time, Permanent About the Role We are recruiting an experienced Class 1 Collection & Delivery Driver / HGV Driver to join a busy commercial vehicle team in Reading. You will be responsible for the safe and timely collection and delivery of customer vehicles, completing vehicle handovers and supporting the workshop and yard team when required. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Class 1 Driver looking for a permanent Monday-Friday late shift, with a shift allowance and overtime available. The Role Safely collect and deliver customer vehicles Complete vehicle handovers and relevant paperwork Provide excellent customer service at all times Carry out road and brake tests when required Assist with vehicle movements around the workshop and yard Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment Support the wider workshop team with general duties when required Requirements Essential: Full UK driving licence Valid Class 1 / Category C+E licence Previous professional driving experience Good customer service and communication skills Reliable, organised and safety-conscious approach Ability to work independently and as part of a team Desirable: Commercial vehicle, HGV, LGV or dealership experience Previous vehicle collection and delivery experience Click 'Apply Now' to take the next step in your career.
