Our client is a well-established MEP Design Consultancy with over 40 years of experience across the industry. They are looking to bring on board a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team. This is a senior-level position for someone with a strong mechanical design background who is confident working independently, taking the lead on projects and supporting more junior engineers. Benefits * Salary between £45,000 – 60,000 Depending on Experience * Flexible working * Enhanced Sickness, Maternity, Paternity Pay Schemes * Holiday Buy and Sell Scheme * Cycle to Work Scheme * Electric Car Scheme * Employee Assistance Programme Key Responsibilities As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be expected to work independently while also taking a lead role on projects and supporting junior members of the team. * Acting as a Project Lead across a range of projects * Working collaboratively with other engineers and disciplines * Acting as a key point of contact for clients * Producing detailed drawings and specifications * Producing calculations or guiding others to complete them * Producing mechanical calculations and providing guidance to other engineers where required * Working on a variety of technically challenging projects across a range of sectors Who are the Client The client is a well-established large MEP Design Consultancy that has been operating for over 40 years. They work across a broad range of sectors, including commercial, industrial, residential, pharmaceutical and public sectors. What are they looking for? The client is looking for someone with a strong mechanical design background who is comfortable taking responsibility for projects and working with clients and colleagues. * At least 4 years worth of experience in mechanical design * Experience using design software such as Amtech, Dialux/Relux and Revit * Knowledge of British standards and building regulations * Working knowledge of BREEAM * Right to work in the UK If this seems of any interest, please feel free to apply or contact Adam on the details attached
