Alliance Personnel are currently seeking an experience production coordinator to join one of their clients based in Birmingham. Role As the Production Coordinator, you will report to the a production supervisor and co-ordinate all die and tooling related activities. Responsibilities: 1. General Responsibilities * Responsible for managing company's die stock and tooling, keeping accurate records and images of receipts and issues as they occur. * To working in a timely and tidy manner reporting any issues as they occur. * To advise on poor performance and concerns in both die life and achieved coin finish. 2. New Dies Responsibilities * Review delivery schedule of new dies from suppliers. * Advise suppliers of delivery priorities. * Inspect new die receipts for defects in finish. * Arrange for refurb of rejected new dies. * Cap and store new dies, advising Minting of availability. 3. Dies for Refurb Responsibilities * Arrange for stripping and refurb of dies in use requiring a refurb. * Advise suppliers of delivery priorities. * Inspect refurb die receipts for defects in finish. * Arrange for refurb of rejected new dies. * Cap and store refurbed dies, advising Minting of availability. 4. Dies to be Archived Responsibilities * Archive dies that cannot be refurbed or have hit mintage. * Advise both Minting and Sales of dies to be archived. * Arrange for archived die to be defaced. 5. Collars & Tooling Responsibilities * To manage collar and press tooling records. * To order replacement collars and tooling. * To advise of concerns and issues with collars and tooling. 6. Other Responsibilities * To manage the plant maintenance schedule and update records. * To assist in collecting and maintaining production performance data. Working hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:15am - 4pm , Friday 7:15am - 2:15pm Contract Type: Temp to Perm
