Contract CNC Turner - Defence Engineering Stockport Immediate Start Ongoing Contract We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of the UK's largest Defence Engineering organisations for an experienced CNC Turner to join their manufacturing team. The Role Set and operate CNC turning machines Machine precision components to engineering drawings and specifications Carry out tooling changes and machine set-ups Work accurately to tight tolerances Inspect completed components using micrometres, verniers and other precision measuring equipment Ensure components meet required quality and dimensional standards About You Experienced CNC Turner / CNC Lathe Setter Operator Strong CNC turning and machining background Able to read and interpret engineering drawings Confident setting and operating CNC machinery Competent using precision measuring equipment Defence, aerospace or precision engineering experience advantageous Comprehensive training provided. Hours Monday to Thursday: 07:00 - 15:30 Friday: 07:00 - 12:00 37 hours per week Contract Rate Umbrella: £26.07 per hour 37 hours = £964.59 per week Additional hours available at overtime rates.
