Electrical Design Engineer Wanted - Immediate Start! Leicester | £45K-£60K (DOE) Permanent, Full-Time Are you an experienced Electrical Design Engineer? Regional Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join a market leading heavy plant machinery company based in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a growing organisation; designing, developing and supporting electrical and control systems for heavy plant machinery. What's on Offer: Company pension Training and development opportunities Friendly working environment Opportunity to work on large, interesting engineering projects Qualifications Essential: Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical/ Electronic engineering Experience in industrial electrical systems and controls Knowledge of: PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley Motor control systems and drives Industrial automation and instrumentation Ability to read and produce electrical schematics Desirable: Experience in heavy plant, quarrying or process industries   Familiarity with SCADA systems and remote monitoring Experience with international commissioning or site work Roles & Responsibilities Design electrical systems for asphalt plants, crushing and screening systems and concrete batching plants Develop control panels, wiring diagrams and schematics Program and configure PLC and automation systems Support installation, testing and commissioning of plant equipment Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues on site and remotely Ensure compliance with electrical standards and safety regulations Requirements As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will also be expected to: Work closely and collaborate with mechanical engineers and project teams About Regional Recruitment  This position is being advertised by Regional Recruitment Ltd, an award-winning independent recruitment agency established in 2008.
