Teaching Assistant – Primary Schools Location: Hertfordshire Salary: £90–£110 per day, depending on experience Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Temporary / Long-term Start Date: Immediate and ongoing opportunities Teaching Assistant – Primary Schools in Hertfordshire Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in a primary school? The Role As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you could be supporting pupils across the classroom, working with individuals or small groups, or providing additional support to children with SEND and additional learning needs. Your responsibilities may include: * Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of engaging lessons * Working with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning * Supporting children with reading, writing and maths * Providing additional support to pupils with SEND * Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and positive learning behaviours * Supporting classroom activities and preparing learning resources * Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement * Creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment * Building positive relationships with pupils and staff What We're Looking For We're keen to hear from candidates who have: * Experience working with primary-aged children – desirable * A genuine passion for children's learning and development * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Patience, enthusiasm and a positive attitude * The ability to work effectively as part of a primary school team * A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, SEN Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Practitioner, Sports Coach, Youth Worker or similar would be beneficial.
