SEND Teaching Assistant - Eccles Location: Eccles Role: SEN Teaching Assistant Pay: £110 per day Start Date: ASAP Contract: Full-time, long-term Are you a caring and experienced Teaching Assistant looking for your next role in Eccles? We're working with a welcoming primary school looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs. The role: Supporting pupils with a range of SEN needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties and learning needs Providing 1:1 and small-group support both inside and outside the classroom Helping pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally Supporting positive behaviour and helping pupils stay engaged with learning Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide consistent support Creating a safe, positive and inclusive environment for pupils We're looking for someone who: Has previous experience working with children or young people with SEN Is patient, caring and confident supporting challenging behaviour Can build positive relationships with pupils Has a proactive and flexible approach Has experience as a TA, SEN TA, Learning Support Assistant, Support Worker or similar If you're an experienced SEN TA looking for a new opportunity in Salford, we'd love to hear from you.
