Transport First Line Manager (FLM) Stoke-on-Trent | £15.50 per hour | Temporary 2–3 Month Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced Transport First Line Manager (FLM) / Transport Supervisor to join a busy timber operation based in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a 2–3 month temporary position, working Monday to Friday, 10:00am–6:00pm, supporting the Transport Manager and Transport Planning team with the smooth running of the day-to-day transport operation. You will play an important role in coordinating the transport operation and supporting a team of HGV Class 1 drivers, helping to ensure deliveries and schedules run efficiently. Key responsibilities of this Transport FLM Role: Supporting the Transport Manager and Transport Planning team Coordinating the daily transport operation Managing and supporting a team of HGV Class 1 drivers Dealing with day-to-day driver and operational issues Monitoring deliveries and transport schedules Assisting with transport administration and compliance Helping to ensure the transport operation runs safely and efficiently We are looking for someone with previous experience in a Transport FLM, Transport Supervisor, Transport Coordinator or similar role.
