Our client a well established engineering consultancy company are looknig to hire 2 Principal Cybersecruity Consultants to join a busy client within the South East region. Job Title: Principal Cybersecruity Consultant x2 Location: Reading, Berkshire Duration: 12 Months Rate: Competitive Hourly Rate - Inside IR35 50% Home & 50% Office Potential 50% on client site Job Responsibilities: Lead the delivery of high-assurance operational technology (OT)security architectures and technical risk management across the UK’s most critical infrastructure. Initially focused within high-hazard nuclear environments, you will act as a trusted technical authority guiding clients through complex digital transformations while safeguarding industrial control systems against sophisticated cyber threats. Job Duties: Architect & Defend: Lead the design, specification, and implementation of secure OT architectures and engineering controls for complex industrial networks. Risk & Compliance: Direct risk assessments and assurance activities in accordance with IEC 62443, the NCSC Cyber Assessment Framework(CAF), and ONR Security Assessment Principles. Accreditation & Advisory: Steer regulatory accreditation processes and liaise directly with regulating authorities and executive stakeholders. Commercial Growth: Provide high-level technical leadership forbids, solutions shaping, and client relationship expansion across CNI and defence. Experience Required: Proven track record in OT/ICS cybersecurity engineering, risk management, and systems architecture. Deep working knowledge of IEC 62443, NCSC CAF, NIS Regulations, and safety-critical operating constraints. Industry-recognised certifications: CISSP, CISM, or GICSP. Outstanding client-facing consultative presence and technical leadership. Mandatory: Active UK Developed Vetting (DV) Clearance - Essential
