Job Title: Clerical Officer Location: Moorside Unit, Trafford General Hospital M41 5SL Hours: 37.5 hours PW Reference: 91245/91246/91247 What you’ll be responsible for: · Applying filing structures, retention schedules so records are easy to find and manage throughout their lifecycle. Confidentiality and data protection. · Ensuring records are correctly labelled, version-controlled and stored, with minimal errors in data entry or filing. · Knowing how records move from creation/use through active storage, archiving and secure disposal, including retention periods and legal holds. · Applying relevant laws and standards and maintaining audit trails. · Using electronic records management systems (Paris), document management platforms (e.g. SharePoint/ MS Teams), databases and scanning, supporting migration from paper to digital. · Assessing where records should sit, resolving misfiles, designing workflows and improving processes for efficiency and risk reduction. · Understanding policies, good record‑keeping, responding to information requests and working with stakeholders across the organisation.
