Facilities / Maintenance Operative Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire Salary: £25,000 per annum + on-call allowance (1 week in every 3) Hours: 37.5 hours per week Reference: 43/26 We are currently recruiting for a Facilities / Maintenance Operative to join a well-established organisation in Kettering. This is a full-time position supporting the safe, efficient, and effective operation of a busy multi-site environment.  Working on a rotating shift pattern: Week 1: Monday to Friday, 5:30am to 1:30pm Week 2: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm Week 3: Monday to Friday, 11:00am to 7:00pm Key Responsibilities Carry out a wide range of caretaking and facilities duties, including basic DIY, plumbing, painting and decorating. Operate a forklift truck (training may be provided where required). Complete maintenance and inspection logs. Open and close the site, ensuring security procedures are followed. Carry out vehicle safety and maintenance checks. Respond to intruder and fire alarm call-outs as part of the key holder rota. Perform routine Health & Safety inspections. Assist with moving equipment and materials, including some heavy lifting. Provide hospitality and event support when required.  About You To be successful in this role, you will: Be able to work independently and as part of a team. Hold a full UK driving licence. Be willing to undertake first aid training.
