MAINTENANCE ENGINEER Job Title - Maintenance Engineer Location - Shaftesbury, Dorset Salary: £51,250 - £54,000 + OTE Shift: 4 Days, 4 Off, 4 Nights, 4 Off – 6am-6pm / 6pm-6am Job Role of the Maintenance Engineer A fantastic opportunity which is not to be missed by a strong Maintenance Engineer has come to the forefront. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on engineer to join an established and successful manufacturing business with a modern, well-equipped production facility. You will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and breakdown fault-finding across a range of production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency. Working as part of a skilled engineering team, you will also have the opportunity to work independently, making this an ideal role for an engineer who enjoys diagnosing faults and getting equipment back up and running. You will be working on a variety of equipment including conveyors, fillers, packers, pumps, separators, cooling equipment, motors, sensors, gearboxes, bearings, chains and valves, as well as PLCs and control systems. The role is genuinely multi-skilled, with a strong mechanical element to the breakdown work alongside electrical fault finding. Sector – Manufacturing  Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Maintenance Engineer Maintenance engineering experience within an industrial manufacturing environment. Engineering Qualification  Desirable Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK. Electrical bias within a multi-skilled maintenance role. Experience working within food, dairy or FMCG manufacturing. Experience with PLCs, inverters, pneumatics or hydraulics.
