The successful candidate must hold their AM2, NVQ Level 3 and 18th Edition. Benefits Salary: £40,000 - £43,000 per annum 24 day's holiday Pension Plan Career Progression What the role entails: Some of the main duties of the Electrical Engineer will include: Undertake a proactive role in responding to reactive jobs to complete diagnostic, fault finding and repair to complex mechanical systems in accordance with relevant standards and operational procedures and in compliance with legislation and guidance Respond to BMS alerts and phone calls during nightshift, acting as the initial point of contact. Assess the nature of the issue, allocate the task to the appropriate team member, and complete the necessary documentation. Ensure all records are handed over to the Helpdesk team at the start of their shift to support effective service continuity Obtain Competent Person status following training and instruction for systems such as low voltage electrical systems, access control systems, alarm systems and medical gas installations Undertake role of Authorised Person following appropriate training and familiarisation Work on the following but not limited to; emergency lighting, nurse calls, general electrics, fire alarms What experience you need to be the successful Electrical Engineer: City and Guilds levels 2 and 3 AM2 18th Edition Previously worked within a maintenance environment Previously worked within a healthcare maintenance environment (Desirable)This really is a fantastic opportunity for a Electrical Engineer to progress their career.
