Passive Fire Protection Inspector | Competitive salary | York with UK-wide travel Full-time | Permanent | Site / Field-based Do you have strong technical knowledge of passive fire protection systems? Are you ready to take ownership of inspections that help ensure buildings meet essential fire safety standards? The role Firespec Ltd is looking for an experienced Passive Fire Protection Inspector to join its growing inspections team. This is more than a routine site inspection position. You will help clients achieve safe, compliant and technically sound fire protection installations across new and existing buildings throughout the UK. UK-wide travel and regular overnight stays are required. Key responsibilities • Inspect passive fire protection installations across a range of building types • Assess fire protection measures against current legislation, standards and industry guidance • Identify non-compliant workmanship and installation defects • Produce clear, accurate and professional inspection reports • Work with clients, contractors and project teams to address compliance issues • Support teams in identifying suitable remedial solutions • Maintain a professional and solutions-focused approach on every project About our company With over 25 years in the passive fire protection industry working for and alongside many fire protection product manufacturers, main contractors and specialist fire protection contractors, Firespec is the ideal choice to help you navigate the complex field of passive fire protection.
