CNC Turner – Setter / Programmer £36,000–£42,000 DOE | Monday–Friday | Andover   Are you an experienced CNC Turner with Fanuc programming experience? This is a permanent opportunity with an established precision engineering company in Andover, working on varied components where accurate setting, programming and machining are important.   Why consider it? £36,000–£42,000 salary, depending on experience Monday–Friday Overtime available Permanent position Fanuc programming 2-axis turning Machine a range of materials including steel, aluminium and stainless steel Work to tight tolerances First-off and in-process inspection  What you'll be doing You'll be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC turning machines, producing precision components to engineering drawings and specified tolerances. The role will involve: Programming, setting and operating Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes Programming using G-codes and M-codes Working with 2-axis CNC turning Reading and interpreting engineering drawings Selecting and setting tooling and work-holding Carrying out first-off and in-process inspections Troubleshooting machining issues and adjusting where required Machining materials including steel, aluminium and stainless steel Maintaining a clean and organised working area  What we're looking for You'll need: Previous experience as a CNC Turner Fanuc programming experience Experience with 2-axis turning Good understanding of G-codes and M-codes Experience setting CNC lathes Ability to read engineering drawings Experience working to tight tolerances Understanding of tooling and machining principles A good eye for detail and quality  The company You'll be joining an established precision engineering business in Andover, working as part of an experienced manufacturing team on varied engineering projects.   Interested?
