Assistant Site Manager – Industrial New Build Location: Hertfordshire Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 + Package Our client is an established main contractor specialising in industrial, logistics and commercial construction, with an expanding portfolio of new-build projects across the UK. They are currently seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join their project team on a major industrial new-build scheme in Hertfordshire. Working alongside the Site Manager and wider project team, you will play a key role in coordinating the day-to-day delivery of the project, with responsibility for subcontractor coordination, quality, health & safety and programme support. Key Responsibilities: * Assisting the Site Manager with daily site operations * Managing and coordinating subcontractors * Monitoring progress against programme * Ensuring works are completed safely and to the required quality * Coordinating site logistics and sequencing * Carrying out inspections and maintaining site records * Attending meetings with subcontractors and the project team * Supporting the delivery of the project from groundworks through to completion The Ideal Candidate: * Previous Assistant Site Manager or Site Supervisor experience * Experience with a main contractor * Background in industrial, logistics, warehouse or commercial new builds * Steel frame experience highly desirable * Good understanding of construction processes and site management * CSCS and relevant construction qualifications * Strong communication and organisational skills * Full UK driving licence Package: * £35,000 – £45,000 + package, dependent on experience * Permanent opportunity * Major industrial new-build project * Excellent opportunity for career progression * Support and development towards Site Manager level If you wish to be considered for the role - please apply with your CV today
