Production and Materials Planner Telford Permanent Up to £40,000 per annum (DOE) Hours: 37.5 per week Are you an experienced Production Planner, Materials Planner or Supply Chain Planner with a background in FMCG or food manufacturing? Due to continued growth, a growing FMCG manufacturer is looking to recruit a Production & Materials Planner to manage production scheduling, materials planning and inventory across a busy, fast-paced operation. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a complex manufacturing environment, balancing customer demand, materials availability, production capacity and frequent line changeovers. The Production & Materials Planner will be responsible for: * Developing achievable production plans based on customer orders, capacity and resource availability * Ensuring raw materials and packaging are available to support manufacturing requirements · Adjusting schedules to accommodate changing priorities, product changeovers and operational demands * Managing planning data, production orders and product information within the ERP system * Supporting new product launches and ensuring a smooth transition into production * Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating stock movements between locations * Identifying potential supply risks and implementing solutions to minimise disruption * Collaborating with operational teams to improve planning accuracy and efficiency Skills and Experience * Previous experience within Production Planning, Materials Planning or Supply Chain Planning * Background within FMCG, food manufacturing or another fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment * Experience managing complex production schedules with frequent changeovers and short lead times * Strong ERP system experience * Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities * Confident communicator with the ability to influence across multiple departments * Highly organised with strong attention to detail The application process: Our mission is to support our clients in their creation of an equal, diverse and inclusive workforce.
