Home Manager – Nursing Home Location: Blackpool Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Hours: Full-time, Permanent Home Size: 30 beds We are looking for an experienced Home Manager to lead a well-established 30-bed nursing home in Blackpool. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong, commercially aware manager who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and creating a positive environment for both residents and staff. You will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home, leading from the front to maintain excellent care standards, strong occupancy and regulatory compliance. The Role * Provide strong leadership to the nursing and care teams * Ensure consistently high standards of person-centred care * Maintain full compliance with CQC and regulatory requirements * Lead, motivate and develop the home's management and care teams * Drive continuous improvement across the service * Manage staffing, recruitment, retention and performance * Oversee budgets and maintain strong commercial performance * Build positive relationships with residents, families and external professionals * Monitor quality, audits, safeguarding and clinical governance * Maintain and develop occupancy within the home About You * Previous Home Manager experience within a nursing or elderly care setting * Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and quality standards * Proven leadership and people-management skills * Good commercial awareness and understanding of budgets and occupancy * Confident managing a large care service * Passionate about delivering excellent resident care * Nurse qualification and NMC registration would be advantageous, but is not essential if you have strong nursing home management experience What’s On Offer?
