Electrical Site Engineer – Contract | Manchester We’re currently looking for an Electrical Site Engineer to support a major energy infrastructure project in Manchester for a leading Independent Power Producer (IPP). This is a site-based role suited to someone with a strong electrical installation background who has ideally progressed from the tools into site engineering, and is comfortable managing subcontractors and overseeing day-to-day electrical works. Contract Details: * Manchester – site based Monday–Friday * Initial 5–6 month contract * Day Rate: Negotiable (Outside IR35) * ASAP start Key Responsibilities: * Managing electrical subcontractors on site * Responding to technical queries (TQs) * Coordinating electrical works and site activities * Monitoring progress against programme * Ensuring works are completed safely and to the required quality standards What We’re Looking For: * Electrical site engineering experience across energy or major infrastructure projects * Strong electrical installation background * Experience managing subcontractors and resolving technical issues * HND/HNC preferred * City & Guilds considered for candidates with 20+ years' relevant experience * Able to commute to Manchester Monday–Friday * BESS/renewables experience beneficial but not essential If you’re available or coming to the end of a contract and would like to hear more, apply directly
