CNC Turner / CNC Machinist Location: Irlam, Greater Manchester Position: Permanent Salary: £21-£24 Per Hour Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30AM-5PM Friday 8:30AM-3:30PM The Role We are looking for an experienced CNC Turner / CNC Machinist to join a well-established engineering business in Irlam. You will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC Turner, producing components accurately from engineering drawings and working to required tolerances. Key Responsibilities Program, set and operate CNC Turner Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T Set tooling, offsets, chucks and machine parameters Carry out first-off and dimensional checks Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust programs Maintain quality and safety standards Skills & Experience Minimum 3 years' CNC turning/machining experience or time-served apprenticeship Able to read, understand and edit ISO turning programs Strong CNC programming and setting knowledge Live tooling and sub-spindle experience advantageous Good understanding of tooling and insert selection CMM and PTFE machining experience advantageous Proven experience within Fanuc and Doosan controls  Contact Ellis Loughran Recruitment Consultant (phone number removed) (url removed) At Aspion, our core values have been built around the importance of transparency, innovation, passion and collaboration.
