Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician 6 month contract Hours – Monday – Friday with early finish / half day Friday Immediate start available We are looking for an experienced Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician to join a fast-paced manufacturing business during a busy period on a contract basis. This is a hands-on assembly role requiring good electro-mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and the ability to work accurately from technical drawings, work instructions / assembly instructions. Ideally, you will have previous experience working within a safety-critical or highly regulated manufacturing environment, such as automotive, aerospace, medical devices or similar, although not essential. Key Responsibilities: Build electro-mechanical assemblies from technical drawings Assemble mechanical and electrical components Soldering  Use hand tools and measuring equipment such as micrometers and verniers Inspect and test completed assemblies to ensure quality and accuracy Carry out upgrades and repairs to electro-mechanical assemblies Work to defined quality procedures and standardsSkills & Experience: Previous electro-mechanical or mechanical assembly experience Ideally from automotive, aerospace, medical or another safety-critical manufacturing environment Able to read and work from engineering/technical drawings Soldering skills Confident using hand tools and measuring equipment Experience assembling small, detailed componentsThis would suit someone from an Assembly Technician, Electro-Mechanical Assembler, Production Technician or Manufacturing Technician background.
