Maths Teacher Stockton-on-Tees Mainstream Secondary School *£145 - £240 per day" We are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Stockton. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who can deliver engaging lessons, raise attainment, and help students develop confidence in mathematics. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4, creating a positive learning environment, and ensuring all students are supported to achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum. Plan, prepare, and assess lessons that support student progress and achievement. Monitor and track pupil attainment, providing constructive feedback and support where needed. Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment. Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of learners with varying abilities. Support students in reaching academic targets and overcoming barriers to learning. Maintain accurate records of attendance, behaviour, and academic progress. Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and wider school staff to support student development. Contribute to departmental initiatives and whole-school improvement activities. Uphold safeguarding procedures and promote the school's values at all times.
