Project Manager Location: Hull / North  Salary: £60,000–£65,000 per annum + car allowance + benefits Contract: Permanent The Opportunity We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a major nationwide retail shopfitting contractor, working on their established Sainsbury’s account. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager with a shopfitting or food retail background who is looking for a long-term position with a well-established business, strong support structure and excellent opportunities for professional development. You’ll be responsible for managing 2–3 projects at a time, working closely with the client and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, commercially and in line with the agreed business plan. Key Responsibilities Manage multiple shopfitting projects from inception through to completion. Deliver 2–3 projects concurrently, ensuring programmes, budgets and quality standards are maintained. Work closely with the Sainsbury’s account team and client representatives. Ensure projects are delivered in line with the wider business plan and client expectations. Coordinate with commercial, estimating, tendering and operational teams. Proactively identify and resolve project issues. Maintain strong client relationships and provide clear, professional communication throughout delivery. Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards. About You We’re looking for a proactive and personable Project Manager who is comfortable working in a client-facing environment. Ideally, you’ll have: Previous experience within shopfitting, retail construction or fit-out. Experience working with food retail clients, ideally Sainsbury’s or a similar major retailer. Strong project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The ability to understand and work to a wider business plan and programme. Excellent communication and client-facing skills. A proactive, solutions-focused approach. A straightforward, easy-going personality and the ability to build strong working relationships.
