Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Site Operative Hixon, Staffordshire £15.00 per hour during training, increasing to £15.60 per hour upon successful completion of training Permanent Position Rotating Days & Nights Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (preferred) will accept in house licence Work Lyf Group are recruiting! We are currently recruiting for Counterbalance Forklift Drivers / Site Operatives on behalf of a well-established business based in Hixon, Staffordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company operating within the aluminium recycling industry, offering long-term stability and excellent earning potential. Shift Pattern * 12-hour shifts * Rotating pattern of: * 2 weeks on Days * 2 weeks on Nights * Monday to Thursday * 4 days on, 3 days off Pay Rates * £15.00 per hour during training * £15.60 per hour once fully trained Key Responsibilities * Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently * Loading and unloading materials and products * Moving stock throughout the site and production areas * Supporting the recycling and processing operations * Carrying out general site operative duties as required * Conducting daily forklift and equipment checks * Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health & safety * Assisting with production activities when required Requirements * Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (preferred) * Previous experience operating a Counterbalance FLT in an industrial or manufacturing environment * Ability to work rotating day and night shifts * Strong awareness of health and safety procedures * Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team * Experience within recycling, manufacturing, production or heavy industry would be advantageous Benefits * Permanent opportunity from day one * Competitive hourly rate with training progression * Three-day weekend every week * Stable and secure employment * Opportunity to develop skills within a growing industry If you are an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver looking for a permanent role with excellent shift patterns and career prospects, we'd love to hear from you
