Our client is looking for an Instrumentation & Electrical Technician to join their maintenance team, supporting the safe and efficient operation of production and gas plant facilities. You'll be responsible for routine and non-routine maintenance, servicing instrumentation and control equipment, responding to breakdowns, supporting new installations and working alongside specialist engineers and contractors. Consultant: Shannon Webb | Ref: 5373 The Role *Carrying out routine and non-routine maintenance and repairs *Servicing process control instrumentation including transmitters, controllers and analysers *Maintaining site services and equipment to a safe working standard *Responding to out-of-hours plant breakdowns where required *Carrying out equipment isolations to permit requirements *Supporting installation and commissioning of new plant *Working with specialist engineers and contractors *Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety The Candidate *4-5 years' relevant maintenance experience *Instrumentation qualification - Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 *Good working knowledge of electrical systems *Understanding of the oil & gas industry *Strong problem-solving skills *Able to plan and prioritise effectively *Reliable, proactive and able to work under pressure *IT literate and confident communicating with colleagues and contractors What's in it for you? *Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm *Enhanced call-out payments *25 days annual leave *10% company pension contribution *Life assurance - 8x salary *Bonus of up to 15% Elix Sourcing Solutions is a specialist recruiter for Engineering, Manufacturing, Tech, Energy and Science roles ranging from mid to senior level positions.
