Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Food Manufacturing Cheshire / North Wales Borders (Accessible from Chester, Wirral, and Flintshire) £52,000 4 on, 4 off (2 days, 2 nights) Jelly Technical is recruiting on behalf of a leading food manufacturer for an experienced, enthusiastic and hands on Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their established production facility. Our client offers a fast-paced, collaborative working environment where you will play an active role in day to day engineering support, site projects and factory upgrades. As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, your key responsibilities include: PPM Schedules: Undertake routine electrical and mechanical maintenance of machinery in accordance with planned schedules. Breakdown Response: React swiftly to plant breakdowns, diagnosing and repairing complex electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime. Continuous Improvement: Adjust machinery, optimise performance and highlight areas for improvement to keep the plant running at optimum levels. Safety & Compliance: Ensure all maintenance tasks are carried out in strict accordance with company safety rules and health & safety legislation. What You'll Bring: Qualifications: Time-served electrical/mechanical apprentice (Level 3 as a minimum). Industry Experience: Proven track record working within a food, drink, or fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment is highly advantageous, however other manufacturing/ automated environments are suitable. Technical Skills: Competent in electrical and mechanical fault-finding, with practical experience troubleshooting using PLC's. Apply TODAY to express an interest.
