A senior opportunity for an experienced Delphi developer ready to combine hands-on technical ownership with real mentoring and team leadership. You'll maintain and enhance a large-scale, business-critical enterprise application used by clients globally — while actively raising the capability of the wider team around you. The Role * Maintain and enhance a mission-critical Delphi application; diagnose and resolve complex defects * Act as technical mentor — coaching developers, sharing knowledge, raising team capability * Lead on planning, estimating and reviewing development work * Guide best practice on secure coding, documentation and QA * Liaise with business users, QA and infrastructure teams as senior technical contact * Contribute technical direction to modernisation and transition projects What You'll Bring * 10+ years' commercial Delphi (XE2, XE10+) * 10+ years' Transact-SQL / MS SQL Server * 3+ years' .NET C# ideally * Demonstrable experience mentoring developers and/or leading technical teams * Experience with legacy, undocumented systems * Agile/Waterfall/hybrid delivery experience * Strong communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent experience preferred. Role is hybrid with Monday and Wednesday in the office
