Production Operative – Permanent Night Shift Location: Worthing, West Sussex Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Shift: 7:00pm – 7:00am, 4 on / 4 off Sector: Medical / Technical Manufacturing Recruitment Agency: Peopleforce Recruitment About the Role Peopleforce Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a leading, innovative and highly regulated medical technology company based in Worthing. We are currently recruiting for Production Operatives to join a specialist technical production department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous production experience. The working environment is closer to a laboratory or cleanroom, with a strong emphasis on precision, quality, cleanliness and following detailed procedures. Due to the nature of the products being manufactured, candidates must be comfortable working to strict processes and maintaining a consistently high level of attention to detail. The Role As a Production Operative, you will work within a specialist production department carrying out a range of technical and process-driven tasks. Your responsibilities will include: * Preparing and filling moulds with polymer and placing them into an exposure machine. * Processing and curing products through controlled washing processes. * Operating vacuum ovens as part of the production process. * Accurately measuring products and sorting them into the correct categories. * Carrying out quality checks throughout the production process. * Following detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures. * Maintaining high standards of cleanliness within a controlled production environment. * Ensuring all production processes are completed accurately and consistently. * Reporting any quality issues or abnormalities in line with company procedures. * Working as part of a team while maintaining individual responsibility for quality and accuracy. About You We are looking for candidates who have previous production or manufacturing experience and are comfortable working in a highly controlled environment. The ideal candidate will have: * Previous production experience – essential * A strong eye for detail and accuracy. * The ability to follow detailed procedures and work instructions. * A methodical and consistent approach to work. * The ability to work comfortably within a regulated environment. * A willingness to wear full PPE throughout the working shift. * The ability to carry out repetitive and detailed tasks while maintaining concentration. * A reliable and responsible approach to attendance and timekeeping. * Previous experience within medical, pharmaceutical, scientific, laboratory, cleanroom or other regulated environments would be highly advantageous. Working Environment & PPE This is a controlled production environment and full PPE will be required, including: * Cleanroom suit * Head covering * Face mask * Gloves * Overshoes * Suitable clean footwear Candidates must be comfortable wearing PPE for extended periods. There are also strict hygiene and cleanliness requirements within the production area, including restrictions on make-up and personal items. Working Hours 7:00pm – 7:00am 4 days on / 4 days off This is a permanent night-shift position, so applicants must be comfortable working nights on a long-term basis. Location The position is based in Worthing, West Sussex. Candidates should ensure they have reliable transport arrangements for both the 7:00pm start and 7:00am finish, as these hours may have limited public transport availability. Why Apply?
