4-DAY WEEK - EVERY WEEK HGV Technician (Tues - Fri Nights) £62,400 Per Annum (£30 Per Hour) + Overtime + Excellent Benefits * Overtime x1.5 * Perm Nights (4 Day Week) * 7:30pm-6:00am * Pension * 20 Days Holiday (5 Weeks) + Bank Holidays * Excellent Company Benefits An excellent and rare opportunity has become available for a workshop HGV Technician on Nights working a 4-DAY WEEK in the Purfleet, Essex area paying an impressive £30 per hour with overtime paid at x1.5 (Time & Half). You will be an experienced Technician with previous experience working on HGV, Heavy Vehicle, Commercial Vehicles and will hold suitable qualifications such as IMI Level 3, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds etc. Duties and responsibilities include: * Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs and trailers * Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults * Complete inspections and preventative maintenance * Ensure vehicles are maintained to a high standard and comply within safety requirements * Carry out repairs efficiently to minimise vehicle downtime * Complete maintenance records and paperwork accurately We are looking for a number of Technicians who are prepared to work either Monday – Thursday night shift (7:30pm – 6:00pm) or Tuesday – Friday night shift (7:30pm – 6:00pm) or rotating the 2 shifts on a weekly basis. 10.5 hour standard shifts with 30 mins unpaid break (10 hours paid). All overtime is paid at Time & Half (x1.5) with excellent pension and company benefits available.
