Quantity Surveyor St Helens A great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join an established contractor in St Helens, working across a varied mix of build, refurbishment and fit out projects. The business works across education, commercial, M&E, leisure, banking and retail, so you’ll get exposure to a broad range of projects rather than being tied to one sector. This would suit a QS who enjoys being involved in the full commercial side of projects and wants a role where they can have genuine responsibility and visibility within the business. The Role * Managing the commercial aspects of projects from tender through to final account * Preparing and managing project budgets, valuations and forecasts * Subcontractor procurement and negotiation * Cost control and reporting across multiple projects * Reviewing variations, applications and change * Managing project costs and identifying commercial opportunities The Projects A varied portfolio including: * Education and school projects * Commercial refurbishment and fit out * M&E works * Leisure projects * Banking and financial premises * Retail and shop fit outs * General refurbishment and building works The role offers the chance to join a strong contractor where you can take real ownership of your work, work closely with the senior team and gain exposure to a genuinely varied project portfolio.
