Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Suffolk - ASAP Start Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Suffolk, starting ASAP. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced education professional looking to take the next step in their career and make a meaningful impact on pupils' learning and development. The school is looking for a confident, proactive and committed practitioner with excellent classroom management skills and the ability to support learning across a range of year groups. The successful candidate will be comfortable delivering lessons in the absence of the class teacher and providing targeted interventions to support pupil progress. 📌 CONTRACT DETAILS Location - Suffolk Position - Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Type of work - Classroom support, intervention delivery and class cover Start date - ASAP Duration - Ongoing / Long-term Full time/part-time - Full time Rate of pay - £100-£120 per day (depending on experience) Hours - 08:30am - 15:45pm📚 EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS Previous experience working within a UK primary school HLTA qualification or equivalent experience desirable Experience leading whole-class learning and small group interventions Strong behaviour management and classroom management skills Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable)✔️ TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one Provide two professional child-related references💼 OTHER INFORMATION If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with an up-to-date CV.
