Civil Design Engineer – Central London Location: Central London – near London Bridge Working: Hybrid Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Role: Permanent I’m currently working with a forward-thinking civil engineering consultancy based in one of the nicest offices in the City, who are looking to add a Civil Design Engineer to their growing London team. This is a great opportunity for a civil engineer who wants to work on technically interesting projects, take on increasing responsibility and develop their career within a modern, ambitious consultancy. The role You’ll be involved in the design and delivery of civil engineering schemes across a range of sectors, with particular exposure to: Drainage design Highways and infrastructure SuDS External works S278 / S38 Flood risk and surface water management Civil engineering design from concept through to detailed design Working closely with structural engineers, architects, developers and other project stakeholders What they’re looking for Civil Engineering degree or equivalent Previous consultancy experience Experience with drainage, highways and/or SuDS design Ideally some experience with relevant design software such as Civil 3D, MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a wider project team Someone keen to progress technically and professionally Why consider it This isn't just another civil design role.
