Geotechnical Engineer Location: London Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 Penguin Recruitment are working with a rapidly expanding engineering consultancy seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join their friendly London team. Benefits Competitive salary Performance bonus Hybrid working Private healthcare Pension Professional membership fees Chartership support Career progression opportunities The Role Undertake geotechnical design and analysis for foundations, retaining structures, slopes and earthworks Interpret ground investigation data and prepare technical reports Carry out geotechnical calculations and modelling Support projects from feasibility through to detailed design and construction Liaise with clients and multidisciplinary project teams Attend site visits and provide construction support Work towards professional development and ChartershipRequirements Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology or a related discipline Previous experience within a geotechnical consultancy/design environment Good understanding of soil mechanics and geotechnical design principles Experience with relevant geotechnical design software Strong communication and report-writing skills Working towards Chartership or an interest in achieving it Full UK driving licence preferred Interested in this role or other Geotechnical Engineering opportunities?
